Ring Domes

Ring domes are slightly larger than our standard domes with the primary purpose being to allow for audience seating in standard-sized folding chairs.  Each ring raises the projected horizon inside the dome approximately 12”. Guests are more comfortable sitting in chairs with the image projected above their heads without casting a shadow. Ring domes are made from the same fabric as our standard domes. The rings are permanently attached to the dome and are inflated with the same blower that supplies air to the dome. Ring domes set up the same way as the standard domes only in a larger space. The dome repacks and is stored just like a standard dome. Because there is more fabric, these domes weigh more but with a little help loading and unloading, one person can set up a ringed dome.
